The outdoor space at Sleepy Bear is both historic + full of wonder. The free standing fireplace dates back to the 1800’s and was built by the original settlers on this land. The home sits on one acre bordering the Pisgah National Forest which is as peaceful as it is beautiful.

The fire pit was built to accommodate our Solo Stove which serves as a bonfire! It’s easy maintenance and low smoke make it the perfect fire pit for our guests.

Right off the driveway is the entrance to a beautiful 20 minute hike to two waterfalls off of Little Wilson Creek. It’s a must-see for our hiking guests!
